My name is Madeline Faye Potter and I'm a traveling Texan who likes everything unconventional.

I love people. Every time I walk in a crowd I tend to spot beautiful things in random people. Crazy freckles. Frizzy hair. Intriguing laugh. Chipped nails. High cheek bones. Wide hips. Toothy smile.

I love how people hold themselves when they have no clue someone is admiring their beauty.

Individual quirks in people are my inspiration.

I want to capture your quirks and your beauty. Whether you're an engaged couple or a unique individual, I will be there embracing your fashion and toothy smile.

Let's work together. I will form a fashion portfolio for you. All you have to do is show up and work it.

I will create portraits for you so you can remember an important time in your life forever.

I will be the reason you have a beautiful coffee-table book of your engagement and shared love.

lovebirds. models. individuals.

Ask me to work with you. I won't let you down.

The year 2016-2017 have been about travel.

2016 Locations: New Jersey & New York City. Spain. Norway. Croatia. Montenegro. Italy. Slovenia. Serbia. Bosnia and Herzegovina.

2017 Locations: Italy (so far). Hopes for Canada (national parks are free this year. hit that up, y'all).

When I was very young, I quickly realized that I did not like to play with barbies and indoor toys. When I was left inside too long I ended up doing bad things like coloring on the walls and dumping oatmeal on my sister and cousin's heads because I was that crazy, restless kid full of too much curiosity and impulse.

Instead of playing inside, I wandered around my family's land finding myself lost in the woods or discovering new meadows and creeks.

At age 4, I would ask my mom to take our globe off the shelf so we could play with it. She would answer all of my questions about places. I would stare at foreign countries and wonder.

Over the years, I constantly researched new countries and dreamed of traveling. I bought calendars featuring countries like Italy and France and set my desktop photos of the Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower.

Once I was in college I was able to pursue my dream. As a sophomore, I took an Honor's World Lit class where I studied the history, culture, and social-political transformation of Central Europe. After the semester, the class hopped on a plane where we visited Budapest, Prague, Berlin, Dresden, Vienna, and Old Town Bratislava.

I came back from that trip finding a part of myself. I switched my major to photography.

The next year I repeated the World Lit class but visited Paris.

One year later, I studied at Harlaxton College in England for 4 months, visiting a new city every single weekend. It was the time of my life.

In 2016 I visited New Jersey and New York City while temporarily living there. Then I explored Europe for 5 months as a solo female traveler, meeting so many amazing people and places.

Right now, I'm an au pair in Busto Arsizio, Italy.

It's all an incredible experience. What's next on my list of places to travel? Well, the entire world, but for now I want to focus on North America and Canada when I return home!

oh look! I have credentials:

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor in Visual Arts with a Focus in Photography
